RE: Quick Soup Ideas
Crumble and brown 1 1/2 lb. ground beef in Dutch oven, drain fat. Add 1 cup cooked pasta, 1/2 tsp. celery salt and 1/2 tsp. onion salt, 28 ozs. chicken broth, 1 can crushed tomatoes (do not drain), 1 1/2 c. sliced carrots (canned), 1 chopped onion, 1 c. frozen peas, 1 cup frozen corn and 1 - 14 oz. jar spaghetti sauce. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 min. Fast, hot and really good!!

I found a way to extend canned chicken noodle soup because it has gotten so expensive - add 2 cans of water instead of one & add 3 teaspoons of powdered chicken soup mix & even a little more water if you don't mind and a teaspoon of powdered tomato soup mix brings out the flavor even more. My son & I love it! He likes more noodles and I love more broth.
Try this: 1 can of cooked beef - take the gravy out the best you can & break up the chunks with a fork. 1 can of corn (drained) 1 can of butter beans (drained if it's not seasoned) add some Worchestershire Sauce & heat This is a nice thick stew like meal .
Put the drainage from the vegetables in a container in the freezer for soup in the future !

(Recipe #1) Company Soup: 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup plus can of milk. Add one can chicken noodle soup plus can of water.
Recipe #2) Prepare can of condensed split pea soup with ham. When ready to serve, let drained black olives float on top. A real conversation opener- doesn't change taste much - it's just fun.

To one can of beef stew, add water, frozen vegies and cooked pasta, rice and or beans. Ketchup or tomato sauce, salsa, or cann of tomatoes are great, too.

Here's a quick, nourishing soup idea. Into a soup pot put one can of chili with beans, one can of chicken, beef or vegetable broth and whatever vegetables you like, either fresh, canned or frozen. It's healthy and fast.
