Use goo-be-gone or lighter fluid. (08/28/2007)

RE: Removing Glue from Glass

I use a product called Goo Gone by Magic American Products. There are similar products but I have found this one works the best. Put a drop on the glue and let stand a few seconds (depending on how tough the glue is) and then wipe with a paper towel and wash with liquid soap. Sometimes I use a razor blade scraper after soaking the glue if the glue is thick or paper is glued on the glass. Goo Gone also works on plastic without damage to the plastic. This product removes a lot of other stains as well. I use it to remove glue left from pricing stickers. It is a yellow liquid and comes in a clear bottle. Can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowe's, WalMart, etc. Try it. (08/28/2007)

It will scrape off a flat surface with a Red Devil type, one sided razor blade. (08/28/2007)

Eucalyptus oil will remove most glues from most surfaces. Just soak some cotton wool with the oil, and rub at the glue until it has dissolved. Brenda from Australia (08/29/2007)

RE: Removing Glue from Glass

Rubbing alcohol is a cheap easy and quick glue/sticker/residue remover from all kinds of glass. Just soak a cotton ball with it and rub on the residue. It will come right out. Good luck. (08/31/2007)

RE: Removing Glue from Glass

Not sure if you mean glue from a sticky label or something else like super glue. If it's label residue that you want to get rid of, rub it with peanut butter or scrub it in the sink with a scourer. With super glue, try super glue remover! (09/29/2007)

Peanut butter really works! I couldn't believe it but it works immediately! (11/24/2007)
