Storing Dry Laundry Detergent

I store my dry laundry detergent in a plastic bin that has a tight fitting lid. This keeps the powder grainy and loose, so there is never any clumping. If you mix it with the water in the washer before you add the clothes, you don't need to use the expensive liquids.

This is a great idea but just be sure to label them. Looks like flour and sugar to me??

I think it's a terrific idea, and I think it's quite pretty. It makes me feel like it's extremely appropriate for my family's style and living area.
