Using Water From The Dryer In The Garden?

Hi all and Happy New Year! Does anyone know if its safe to use the condensed water collected from my tumble drier to water the garden? I think I read somewhere a long time ago that it's not, but I cant remember why?

Hi Sandra
I think it would be ok to use the dryer water for watering plants as long as you don't use dryer sheets which have chemicals on them.

Hi Sandra, The water has no value. It's heavy to lug to garden. We did it when we didn't know any better. Happy New Year Love!

Thanks Juanita and Liz and happy new year to you both! If there's no value in the water, I might persuade someone to wash the car with it instead :)

Could it be used in a steam iron to avoid furring instead of paying for de-ionised water?

Could the water have detergent traces which would acidify the soil?
