Storing Fenugreek

By Jennifer A. Wickes
Question:

I would like to know tips for storing fenugreek leaves (along with stems, no roots).

Answer:

Fresh fenugreek can be washed and dried thoroughly, then placed in a ziplock bag. Place this bag in the butter compartment in your refrigerator. The fenugreek can stay fresh there for 5 - 7 days.

Fenugreek may also be frozen. Chop small amounts and place in ice cube trays and cover with water. With teh ice cubes freeze, place them in a labelled bag and seal for 4 - 6 months!
