Spiffing Up Waste Baskets |
|

You can cover inexpensive plastic waste paper baskets from the dollar store and elsewhere with marbled contact paper to spiff them up. Use flowered paper, too, to fit the color scheme. Works on vinyl as well as hard plastic and makes them look much more expensive.

a friend of mine came for the weekend and decided that my waste baskets needed" tarting up". She asked me for a few pillow cases that i no longer needed and lined each bin with a suitably printed one to match the decor. The opening of the pillow case folds back over the opening..looks good

I decoupage the wastebaskets with old calendar pictures -- makes a GREAT gift for those with particular tastes!
