- 2 cups warm water
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- approx. 6 cups flour
Soften yeast in water. Add rest of ingredients, adding only half of the flour. Let set a few minutes then add more flour to make a soft dough. Shape into dinner rolls or roll out 3/4 inch thick and cut out for soft homemade hamburger buns. Let rise until light. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes.
