If ever you have trouble with phlegm in your chest and you just can not bring it up by coughing, get yourself some orange leaves, 5-6 per liter of water. Just place the leaves into a pot or jug and pour boiling water over them. Let them cool, remove leaves and drink a glass morning and night. You can drink it either warm or cold. You will be surprised just how quick your chest will clear. It has a weak orange taste.

Where can you find orange leaves? I could really use that suggestion to help me.

Do you mean orange leaves from a tree that grows the fruit, oranges? We're in the US & I want to be sure we're talking about the same thing. Excellent tip, wish I lived near an orange grove! Be cautious of using leaves that have been treated w/ pesticides. At our house we drink hot water to which we add a tablespoon or two (whatever you can handle) of bottled concentrated lemon juice. Tastes good when you have a cold, soothing. If you don't want just the lemon juice, make hot tea & add it to the tea. You can also use the juice of a fresh lemon. Clears the head, sinus, chest very well also. We drink 2-3 cups per day when we have congestion.
