Pineapple Pruning
I need help with my pineapple plant. I grew a pineapple and just removed it to eat. But what do I do with the stalk it grew on? Do i cut it out of the center of plant or just leave it?

I've heard of growing pineapples but never really had any luck. Don't you just cut off the top inch or so of the pineapple with the green? If you can give me any pointers, please do.
