Maggie Mae (Longhair Chihuahua)

Maggie Mae is 3 years old and a longhair chihuahua. I had been looking for a while when I saw in the paper that they were having chihuahuas at a nearby antique mall. I went and didn't have to look any further once I saw her. She' my shadow, companion and BFF! Maggie Mae (Longhair Chihuahua) in profile.

She loves her blankets (binkies). She has several and she takes them everywhere with her. She'll even make her own bed with her binkies! She loves to fetch anything. If you throw it, she'll bring it back to you. Very loyal and obedient!

Chihuahuas are so amazing. They are so loyal.

I have Banjo who is such a sweetie. She never leaves my side, she is part chihuahua, but also part mountain feist and dachshund. I have never seen a dog more "my shadow" then her. She is a sweetie.

Tell Maggie she is a good girl and that I like her hair.

Here is Banjo, sleeping with her nose covered up as she usually does, right next to me.

Blessings, Robyn

Aww, she is just adorable. My grandmother had her chihuahua for over 22 years. Speedy was her companion and she loved him dearly. Thank you for sharing.

I have 2 long haired chihuahuas and they are the best dogs ever. I'm in my 60s and have never been without a dog or dogs since I was 3 years old and have had many breeds. I can say on good authority that they really are the best companion and also the smartest dogs I know. Both of mine are so intuitive I swear they know what I'm going to do before I do. LOL. One of them sleeps on the bed (more often in the bed) with me and snuggles right in to me, whenever I wake in the night I pat her and she rolls over on her back for a tummy rub.

My only regret is that I hadn't been introduced to the breed many years ago as I doubt I would ever have had another breed. I can't tell you just how much I love my babies. The photo is of Sadie, she's my "bed buddy"
