Ingredients

  • 1 box club crackers,
  • 1 lb. of bacon,
  • Brownulated sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with club crackers, side by side until all of pan is covered. Cut bacon in half and cut one side in half again. You won't need other half. Put a piece of bacon on each cracker then sprinkle all with the brownulated sugar. Bake one hour. Always a favorite at my parties. The bacon cooks perfectly and is a great mix with the brown sugar flavor.

what is "brownulated" sugar?

Editor's Note: It is a brown granulated sugar. Domino brand has brownulated sugar. You could also use Turbonado sugar or probably just regular brown sugar.

How much brownulated sugar, please?

Editor's Note: It wasn't listed. You just sprinkle some on top so I wouldn't think more than 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. per cracker.

Your recipe states granulated sugar, but your comments, say brown?

Editor's Note: It calls for "Brownulated sugar" which is a granulated brown sugar. Domino's brand has some. One of the editor's changed it in the ingredients.
