Cook sugar and water to make a syrup. Mix strong tea, lemon juice, orange juice and syrup. Let chill. Put ice in bowl; add juice mixture and ginger ale. Garnish with lemon slices, cherries or orange. About 30 (1 cup) servings.

In large punch bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients. Stir in ginger ale. Add scoops of sherbet. Serve immediately. (makes 8 qts.)

*If you don't have ginger ale, you can use equal parts of 7-up and coca cola (diet is ok as well). Our daughter in law is a diabetic and she loves this punch so we use diet sodas. It has become a family favorite.

This is a mild punch that works great when you aren't sure how much punch to have on hand. This mixes so easy you can keep the ingredients separate until you need them.
