Check the website for HGTV's Carol Duvall Show. http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/shows_cds
They just did a Christmas Craft special and one project was a craft with styrofoam balls wrapped in ribbon - I'm sure it can be modified to use cloth.
Enjoy!
and Merry Christmas!

Couldn't you make a big circle out of fabric, and sort of wrap the ball from bottom up, and put some sort of decoration on top to hide the gathers on the top ? and you would have to have a hanger of some sort, you could poke some ribbon in the top with a pencil before you close the top up with the fabric . Have no idea if this would work, but what have you got to loose ?? Have any scrap fabric laying around the house to try it with ? Hope this helps. Rose
