I use this tip found on ehow; I used to simply swish the feathers through cornstarch but that never seemed to get the feathers really clean.
Warning-the ehow tip is fiddly, lol! But it also works very well! I got a nicotine stained pair of feathered angel wings looking like new with this tip:

I have an angel doll. We had a wood burning store and the doll and wings got really dirty from the stove. The wings can be removed the wings; they have a ribbon around it to tie on the doll. If you can give any pointers on how to clean the dress and doll I would appreciate it greatly. I want to get it clean again, but have no idea how to get it back like it was. Thank you.
