The Colonel's Favorite Babyback Ribs

Easy to prepare, better than grilled! Always gets raves from guests.

Ingredients:

  • baby back ribs (1 rack)
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • liquid smoke

Directions:

To the extent possible, remove the membrane from the back of the ribs, this sometimes requires a paper towel as it is very slippery.

Place on double layers of foil sufficient to wrap the ribs completely closed.

Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides, turn meaty side up, and liberally sprinkle liquid smoke on them, wrap in foil, then place in oven preheated to 275 degrees F.

Cook 4 to 5 hours, until falling off the bone tender. Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce or nothing at all.
