Well you do tend to get what you pay for with makeup in my experience, so a cheaper brand won't have exactly the same quality- however, I've heard wonderful things about ELF products, and they have a mineral makeup line on their website, I believe. The whole brand is unbelieveably well priced for what is reported as fantastic products.
I haven't used a lot of brands of Mineral Makeup, but the one that I have used is Avon and it isn't terribly expensive and I love it.
I've used several brands of mineral makeup and prefer the Loreal brand, I use both the foundation and the blush.
Check etsy.com (handmaking website), there are a good many sellers who make cosmetics, including mineral make-up.
I use the mineral makeup made by Maybelline. I buy mine at Wal Mart for about $10. To make it last longer and go on more evenly, I mix it half & half with loose face powder. I apply it to my face with a small powder puff. This keeps the powder from falling on my clothes, the vanity, etc.
Most discount stores, and drug stores sell some form of mineral make up now. The majority of them are made at the same factory as the ones that people consider high end. They are just packaged differently, in less fancy packages.
I am interested in finding a good store, website, or eBay store for mineral makeup along with recommendations of the best brands.
