Mr Clean Magic Eraser should work, but so will lighter fluid.

A Mr. Clean sponge will get it off. It only costs around a $1.00.

Rubbing alcohol takes any permanent markers stains off of anything.

Rub a dab of white toothpaste on it. Go along with the grain. Then wipe clean with a damp rag.

Try rubbing alcohol on a small area first to see if it is going to discolor your paneling. Rubbing alcohol will get permanent marker out of most things. Good Luck!
