Tiger Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugared cornflakes (like frosted flakes)
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Measure cornflakes, then crush into 1 1/2 cups. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Melt chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Beat butter and sugar together, add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients; mix thoroughly. Fold in sugared cornflakes. Swirl warm chocolate through batter leaving streaks of chocolate. Drop by tablespoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 minutes.
