Choose a top fabric, layer of quilt batting, and either a complimentary, matching or twin bedsheet. You may need to seam the top fabric if you want it wider than 54". Cut everything to the same size. Layer the batting, bottom fabric right side up, top fabric upside down, in that order. Pin all around the edge using quilt pins (long".). Stick a few pins around the middle, spread out to keep the thing from shifting. Start at the bottom, 12" in from the edge, stitch to corner, up and around 3 full sides and on the bottom, turn the corner and stitch in 12" . Remove all pins and trim edges. Turn the whole thing inside out by putting your arms between the fabric layers. You should have both fabric sides with the batting in the middle once its flipped. Pin and slipstitch bottom opening by hand. Using quilting thread, or yarn, or string, thread a needle, measure and mark even spacing and take 1 stitch thru all layers and tie in a square knot on top size. Cut ends about 1" long.
