Craft: Straw Hat Snowman
Here are some snowmen made from small and larger straw hats.

Approximate Time: 30 minutes

Supplies:

  • straw hats
  • acrylic paints
  • pom poms
  • ribbon
  • pipe cleaners
  • white spray paint
  • hot glue and gun

Instructions:

Spray paint hats white or you can paint with brush and acrylic paint. Let dry. Paint on the faces. Take a smaller hat and cut in half and paint, then glue on top of big hat to make the snowman a hat. Glue on your pom poms for ear muffs. You can add pipe cleaner over top to look like the string for the ear muffs. Glue on ribbon.

Those are so cute! I just love them. How nice for a winter theme after we've taken down the Christmas decorations. Nice work!

Sandy, Totally awesome! What a perfect craft for young crafters, such as Scouts, to do for a nursing home or for children's hospital unit for on the doors. And, of course, to do for at home too. Keep sharing those good ideas!!!
