Cypress is the type, and Sky Pencil is the variety.

They are Italian Cypress. We had them in our yard when we lived in California.

This looks like Italian cypress. Height 30-40 ft. An unusually narrow and columnar tree with dense dark green foliage. Very formal profilt. Plants with multiple leaders make interesting irregular specimens. Zone 8
