Please have a repairman look at it. Mine stopped working properly and made hollow cubes. Without me realizing it, water had leaked all under the subfloor of the kitchen and horribly down in the basement where the water feeds into the ice maker. What a mess! A repair saved the floor in time.

Mine does this when the filter for the water needs replacing. It restricts the flow lowering the ice turnout.

Have you changed your water filter? Mine says that when you get hollow ice cubes to do that.

My appliance repairman husband says you probably need a new fill valve. Not too expensive of a repair.
