Wildlife: Canadian Geese
Geese go a walking! My Grandson was looking out the window and he saw 4 geese go a walking right down the middle of our street. He counted "one, two, three, four, is there any more?"

They may not sound as beautiful to others, but I always found their dissonant honking magical. Thanks for sharing.

Your grandson is a smart boy and witty! Come on over the river to Fort Erie and he can learn all his numbers. There's tons of geese!

I caught these Canada Geese on camera last October, resting before continuing their journey south for the winter. I wonder how many ended up on Thanksgiving and Christmas tables?

Wildlife: Canadian Geese
I caught this picture feeding some Canadian Geese at a small pond near my son's apartment complex. You can tell they are use to being fed because they come right up to you when you are getting ready to feed them. I also saw some gold fish coming up to eat on the bread as I was throwing it out there. I was really surprised to see them in that pond.

RE: Scenery: Canadian Geese

We found your Canadian Geese! There is a little creek about a mile down the road from our house here in Mt. Zion, Illinois. On the bank of the creek is a little park, then there is a house, then an empty lot. These geese congregate on the empty lot and in the little park. There are usually over a hundred geese between the two spots. One day I stopped to take a couple pictures of them. I hope you enjoy my pictures! God Bless, Sheila Saey in Mt. Zion, IL (01/15/2009)
