Have you tried checking with the local parks? Santee Canal Park has some lovely outdoor sites and a great museum area. Also, check with a local bank. They may have meeting rooms available to you if you are a member. Another option is to look into the VFW if you have an older relative in one. Try Restaurants also. My reception was very small and we used the private area in a restaurant. My daughters reception was on the lawn of a lovely Mansion and very inexpensive, beautiful, and the out of town guests loved it. Well, We all did. We made the reception into a large friends and family party. Everyone help to provided food and entertainment.
