Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup vegetable shortening
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream together the shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar. Add the eggs and the flavoring and beat well. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the above. Lastly, stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. This is a generous recipe and should produce 60 cookies.
