Freezing Fresh Dill

Can you freeze dill? My dill is ready for pickles, but the cucumbers aren't. Will it still have the same taste as with fresh dill for pickles?

Yes, you can freeze dill and the flavor will still be awesome :-) Just bring a pot of water to a boil, rinse the sprigs and then parboil for only a couple of seconds. Immediately remove from pot, rinse in cold water, pat dry very well, place in freezer bag(s), push out as much air as possible before sealing and freeze.

No you cant freeze whole pumpkins because they have a large water content like melons and squashes.when you take them out the freezer they turn to a mush.
