Pecan Layer Cake

I am looking for a recipe my grandmother use to make. She also made a cake with many very thin layers with a glaze like filling of pecans and raisins. I would really appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
Karen from Pensacola, FL

No, the recipe that I am looking for is not baklava. It is a cake with a glaze between many layers...The glaze is made with raisins and pecans

Would that be baklava, the Greek dessert? It's layers of paper thin pastry with a syrup of raisins and nuts. Yum!
