For an unusual looking planter, take 5 bathroom or floor tiles and glue together with epoxy (4 sides and 1 bottom).

Does the epoxy glue hold together enough to keep the tiles together and not fall apart? What about drain holes? Would a wooden box tiled on the outside be more durable? We have leftover lestelli and tile from our bathroom shower that I just completed... it would make a beautiful planter.
