I recently had a horrible toothache and nothing worked to stop the pain. Then my soon-to-be hubby brought home a few packets of this stuff called Pain Aid from work. This stuff works so good, but I can't seem to find it any place! It has Acetaminophen, Aspirin, Salicylamide and Caffeine in it. Does anyone happen to know where to find it or something similar to it that works so well?

Thank you in advance! :^)

IT WORKS!!!!!!
(history)
Okies... Well a friend of mine was suffering from a horrible toothache and had no way to get any medication for it. She called me complaining and had not slept for quite sometime. Well all the old standards I knew about like liquor, oil of cloves, asprin directly on the tooth etc, weren't available to her. I asked my 90 year old grandmother. She had read something in a 1920's local paper. Sounded nutty to me. But I told my friend about it. And what do you know . It actually worked and she went to sleep within 20 mins comfortably. It's totally natural.

(Remedy)
Take a rasin and split it open. Fill it with pepper. Place on the bad tooth or area where you are hurting and leave it there. Within 20 mins you should be feeling some relief. Don't thank god...Thank my grandma.

They are available through the Zee corporation. You can find them on their web site for a reasonable price. I googled painaid and got the web site and order info. I agree with you, they are the best! From tooth ache to PMS we use them for everything!

Pain pills only work for a very short period of time.

The dentist is the only that can stop the pain. This is coming from a poor 23 yr. old w/o dental insurance! Move to Canada. Their health care is free!

Hi Katie, I found it only on Ebay, but not under the name Painaid. Do a search with the word Salicylamide, and you will find it there in almost the same ingredients. God bless, Judy

I can't afford to go to the dentist and get a root canal. I'm in excruciating pain. :-( So much so that I can't help crying. I'm popping pills like crazy and went through a tube of orajel in two days. This pain is worst than childbirth. I can barely function and work with this pain. I'm in agony and distress and depressed over this.

Editor's Note: T.J. some dentists will give you help with the bill or give you credit or work out payments if you are in pain. Call around and see what you can work out, there is nothing worse than tooth pain and they know that.

Pain aid is wonderful, I found it at work in the emergency kit for a headache years ago. Here in Georgia we have QT ("QuikTrip") gas stations and they sell them in individual packets by the registers. I also saw them at a Flash Foods station on the counter. If all else fails, the same medicines are found in Excederin Migraine pills. It's the same as BC and Goodies Powders. The caffeine makes the meds. work faster.

As a former dental assistant, I'mgoing to get preachy here. Pain is the last sign that there is something wrong with a tooth. Alot of people figure they won't go to a dentist until something hurts them. It's too late then. Regular preventative checkups can save you money in the long run. For now, tho, you need to get something done about that tooth. Just taking aspirin or whatever is only a temporary fix. The tooth will get worse. What could just be a cavity now could end up to be a root canal later on if you let it go. A simple filling is much cheaper than a root canal and a crown.

Temporary fix=clove nails. Get them at your local healthfood store. Just push one on each side of your tooth. It helps cleanse mouth, freshen breath, but, also, deadens the pain naturally.

The ingredients you describe are the same ones in Excedrin Migraine. We used to have this at work, our version was called PainAway, and one day i compared the ingredients at the drug store. It's the same thing. And it really does work!!!

I agree with Leslie....if you have a severe toothache, you need to get into your dentist pronto! I had a very bad toothache, oh about 6 yrs ago....I would cry like a baby from the pain and it kept me awake at night. I only put up with it a couple days and then went in and turned out I had a bad nerve. The Dentist removed the nerve and did something temporary until I could have a root canal done. You can't use some sort of product long term and ignore that there could be something serious going on. You don't need to find more of that product, you need to go see the Dentist and don't delay!

If you have a toothache the best thing to do is have it checked by your dentist, it could be decay, a problem with the nerve, a problem with your gums, your bite or who knows what else, if your pain is returning, it means it's not getting better. I think the product sounds like a great idea for an emergency if you want to feel comfortable until you reach a dentist though! Good luck.
