By bebhinne (Guest Post) She looks just like my Norwegian Elkhounds! There are 2 sizes of Norgies, 12" and 18". They get to be 60-80 pounds. They have pointed, upright ears, a curled tail, and thick fur. They're a light grayish tan with black markings and lighter belly fur. They were bred to hunt moose. The dog would track the moose and corner it, then "worry the moose" by darting in and out at it's feet until the hunter could catch up. Mine loved to play games where you stomp your feet at them.
