I Love My Dog!
I Love My Dog!
With all the problems with dog food lately here is a good way to make dog biscuits and my dog loves them.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

Mix ingredients all together in bowl, roll out dough and use cookie cutters to make designs or just roll in cookie shapes. Bake 375 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.

From Recipezaar.com:
2 eggs
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons dry milk
2 1/2 cups flour (wheat is probably better!)
water
Mix wet / Mix dry / then mix together using enough water to make DRY yet workable dough. Bake 350 degrees 20 minutes on BOTH sides (flip once in between 40 minutes of baking.)

Although they sound good a lot of dogs have allergies to wheat and since your recipe includes whole wheat flour, they may need to substitute it with another type of flour,

They sound very good. And you can have some fun with them by eating one yourself when people are watching.
