Has anyone ever made curtains out of comforters?

That does sound like a good idea. A friend and I made curtains for our apartment windows out of sheets (we actually made them double-sheet thick for some added privacy/darkness for our bedrooms) but never thought of comforters. Could be a lot cheaper than buying material for the curtains. What a good idea!

Comforters would certainly be some good insulation for the windows.

I have not but it is a very good idea to keep out the cold & sun in summer time, good luck.
