This is a great semi-sweet treat that you could use at a party treat or just for a dessert at a meal.

I'm sorry but I'm a tad confused on the part where they get cut in half lenghtwise and unrolled. Couldn't the cream mixture be spread on the separated rolls without cutting anything?

Again, sorry for making you have to explain this again.

Sorry, but I'm with "sooz". The ingredients sound great, I'm just not sure of the assembly process. Do you cut the rolls in half and then unroll? Spread the mixture and then re-roll? Sorry for the confusion on my part....

Yes, I suppose they could be spread on it without cutting in half but the object here is to have bite size pieces. Not cutting them in half lengthwise would be more than a bite. I think it might be easier to spread it on and then cut it in half.

I just go by the directions first time I make them but I think it would be much easier to cut them in half after you spread the mixture on it.

I, too, am confused by the directions. I plan to give this a go and slice the roll in half as directed and spread one half with the filling and top with the other half, pressing the edges together then topping with the remaining spice mix or I may try some other configuration.

Was this meant to be an open-face (pizza-like) treat? Hard to know.

Anyone else have other ideas?

Jo
