Cleaning Essential Oil Rings

If you use those metal rings that sit on light bulbs and heat essential oil to "scent" your room, there is an easy way to clean the baked on oil residue that eventually forms. Simply heat the ring in your toaster oven, remove it with metal tongs and place it on a potholder. Then, use one corner of the potholder to hold the ring, while you wipe away the melted oil with cotton swabs. This method works like a charm.
