Filling Nail Holes in Wall

An easy way to patch small holes in the wall is to use white toothpaste (not the gel type) and smooth. It can be painted over or covered with wallpaper. It can also be touched up with colored pens.

I like your idea and plan to put it to good use this evening. I have purchased the compound called "spackle" in the past for filling in holes on walls and found that after a period of time, it had gotten hard and had to throw the entire can away. Now the toothpaste which you can purchase at the dollar store lasts a lot longer and costs much less and when the toothpaste finally does get hard throwing it away is no big deal. Thanks again for the tip. I guess toothpaste is not only for brushing your teeth and cleaning your jewelry we can now plaster up the holes in the walls.

They make a special compound for that. It is cheap and one small can will do a whole house. It is made for that purpose so when it is painted over it doesn't show under the paint.
