Quick and Meaningful Gift

For a quick and meaningful gift for anyone, write an acrostic poem. Simply write the person's name down the left side of a sheet of paper, one letter at a time. For each letter, choose a word or words that describe the person. For example,

Ingredients:

  • Marvelous cook
  • Angelic face
  • Radiant smile
  • Youthful outlook

Directions:

(Or you can get fancier and write a rhyming poem!)

Print out the acrostic on your computer printer. Make each beginning letter in a larger, bolder font, and add appropriate artwork if you want. Frame in a dollar store frame, and you have an easy and inexpensive gift.

Quick and easy gifts, if you can bake, make some butter cookies, crunchies, bake a cake and pack them in a glass jar and use a piece of fabric, organza if you have or any other and tie it to the neck of the jar. Pickles, fruit chutney, nuts and raisins, variety of teas, spices, dried fruit can be packaged in this way. Makes easy and inexpensive gift ideas.

I love this idea, wish I'd found it before Xmas but I'll use it next year. It'll be nice for the two little girls who live next door, I'll buy two cute photo frames and ask for a photo of each which I'll place on one side and pop ur idea down the other side running next to their photo, their mum will love them for their bedrooms. Thanks so much :)
