Care Instructions For Painted Furniture
Can I set drinks on a painted dining room table? I just bought a dining room table and chairs with a painted black surface. There were no care instructions except it said to clean with furniture polish. I wanted to know if I can set drinks on the table or will it leave a watermark? I tried to contact the manufacturer to ask with no luck.

Since it says to clean with furniture polish, better be safe and use coasters unless you get a glass top cut for it.

I would have to say yes you should set drinks on your new dining room table. It should be made to handle everyday use. Enjoy it. If you develop some water marks try this...cover the marks with mayonnaise and let sit for about 1 hour then wipe clean. But most of all have fun useing your new table!
