Dirt Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 packages instant chocolate pudding
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 12 crushed Oreos
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 pt. Cool Whip
Directions
Mix well pudding mixes and milk; refrigerate for 5 minutes. Add to pudding the crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and Cool Whip. Crush 12 Oreos and put in bottom of 9x13 inch dish. Add pudding mixture. Crush 12 Oreos and sprinkle on top.

How many cookies are required for this recipe? The list of ingredients indicates 12 crushed oreos.
Instructions say to add to pudding the crushed oreos. Later on "crush 12 oreos and put in bottom of dish".
Finally, "crush 12 oreos and sprinkle on top".
I am now counting 36 oreos! Is this correct?
