Honeysnaps

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups shortening
  • sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cups sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Cream shortening and 2 cups sugar in bowl until smooth. Beat in eggs and honey. Add dry ingredients and vanilla, mixing well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-18 minutes.
