Removing Black Stains from Wearever Pot?

I boiled kitchen towels with detergent and bleach in the Wearever pot. The kitchen towels came out clean, but my pot is stained black. Does anyone know how to clean it?

I personally would never even use that pot for cooking food again because it's most likely black from bleach leaching in to the metal! Also, if the detergent you used was dish soap then count yourself lucky that the fumes, especially since you heated it up on the stove, didn't put you in the hospital or morgue because there are chemicals in the dish soap that when mixed with bleach are the same that were used during WWI to make Mustard Gas :-o You could safely use the pot to store smaller items under your kitchen sink, use as a portable bucket for cleaning or to soak your feet when you give yourself a pedicure, etc.

safely though.
