Use A Ladle To Prevent Overflow
When making cupcakes, I pour the batter from the mixing bowl directly into the cupcake pans. I use a ladle to stop the flow between each cupcake. I hold the bowl in my left hand and the ladle in my right. When they are all filled, I use the batter in the ladle to fill up the ones that I didn't put enough batter in.
