There is a nice article in the Dallas Morning News. It tells about how to get it. Easy reading. Mentions antennas, cable, satellite, dish, TIVO, etc. It sounds complicated when I re-read it, but this article is very simple and straightforward. Worth printing out when Feb. 2009 comes and broadcast TV changes.

Thanks for the link - I'm in Allen and didn't even see it! A friend of mine has already dropped his cable TV ($60 per month) and bought an antenna for his attic to watch the local HD channels. He did buy a Tivo, so his starting costs were a little higher, but now he just watches free TV. There is a free Tivo called MythTV, but you need a PC with a cable card (and a geek to set it all up). Since satellite and cable are getting too expensive for what they offer, we're seriously thinking about going the antenna route.
