Texas Bluebonnets (Trenton, Texas)

Texas Bluebonnets, spring in Trenton, Texas
contest winner icon
There is nothing better than Texas in the spring, when the bluebonnets bloom. Everyone flocks to the fields to take photographs of their family and pets. I also do this but I also love all of the other visitors to photograph. There are always a ton of bees, ladybugs, and butterflies. This is just one of the little guys I caught on camera today!

Bluebonnets are so strikingly beautiful and blue! I once lived in Texas and loved seeing them alongside the roads and highways every spring!

The little guy bee is cute but you can't call those Bluebells little. I planted some Bluebells along the wall of my house. Holy smokes they grew & grew to a height of 7 feet! They multiplied and divided until I had s span of 12 feet without any effort on my part. They were beautiful and every spring they bloomed for weeks. The only thing about them that I didn't like was removing their dead stalks after they died.
