Planning a Party For Teen Boys (and Adults) |

|
My cousin's birthday is July 18th. My aunt and I have no clue what kind of birthday he wants or what we are going to do for his birthday. We want it to be a out of this world, awesome, fantastic, positively astounding party. But us being girls we have no clue what to do for him.He wants boys and girls to be there and there will be family too. So please help me and my aunt survive this terrible nightmare before the 18th.
He likes football baseball and girls, music (all kinds of variety) o yeah did I say girls!
Thank You, Amanda from Splendora, TX and Cheryl

Archived Request: Planning a Party For Teen Boys (and Adults)
I am planning a 16th birthday party for my son. We will be having a cookout at a swim park (lake) with many of his friends and also family (ages ranging from 2-65). Some of the kids are not so well behaved and I need something to occupy them so they don't terrorize everyone!
I am hoping someone can give me ideas that will make this fun for everyone. I need ideas for everything from making the invitations-food-games-prizes. I want to make some really cool invites that aren't so plain. His birthday is July 24, so I have a month to plan. I never had this problem with planning my daughters parties! Boys at this age are hard to plan for! :) Please help!
Thanks! Any advice will be MUCH appreciated!
Sandie

What is he interested in. I have a 16 year old boy and he is interested in video games, cars, star wars, and computers. Pick one of his interests and use that as your theme. Use the theme to make your invites. Shape them like a car or how about a playstation? Gift certificates would make great prizes. Cards to the video store or to a chain. If they are in to clothes and fashion (my son isn't) gift certificates to a clothes store or haircut place. Most important have lots and lots of food. Man, can they eat! I would think for games at this age competitive would be best. Who can swim the furthest, throw the ball the farthest, run the fastest, score the most baskets etc. Since there will be family there also how about a scavenger hunt where they break up into teams. Good Luck and have fun.

Hi Sandie, I know you will make this a very special party. Go to the dollar store and get some water guns. Guys of all ages love these!
