Contact My puppy had the same problem and took him to the vet and was diagnosed with hook worms. Please get it to the vet asap. Also with hook worms you have to use bleach on the poop spots in your yard to kill them. Good Luck and will be praying for your dog. Posted on 03/05/2008 | Report Spam or Abuse RE: My Dog is Vomiting By preston (Guest Post) my puppy ive had for about 3 weeks shes 9 weeks old and just today she vomited up her food and what looks like some soft bones she has been chewing on.. she is very playful and very active so we played with her for a little bit and then she fell asleep then woke up vomited more of her food. she then fell back asleep. she we have been moving things around the house and hasnt really slept much day so we are thinking its just lack of sleep not completely sure but figured id ask some people that may have more experience in this to provide some advise. I do not know if it can be passed to other animals (cats, etc) or to people, but I do know it is deadly in dogs. This dog is going to dehydrate fast if you don't get something to stay down. Get to a vet as soon as possible. With puppies this is no joke, and you need to take this very seriously.
