How do you get the smell of paint thinner out of a canvas bag? I knocked about an ounce of paint thinner into a canvas bag my mother uses on her wheelchair. I have washed the bag 3 or 4 times and it still stinks. I would welcome any help with this.

Thanks,
Peggy

I would try white vinegar, either soaking the bag in vinegar and then washing it normally or just adding 1/2 to 1 cup of vinegar to your rinse water in the washer. Either way, vinegar should kill the smell ... it works on my husbands work pants when he gets dieseal on them!

Good Luck!
Rebekah
