Wildlife: An Outdoor Christmas Offering

My mother thought it would be nice if the creatures in her garden could enjoy Christmas as much as the rest of the family. She took pine cones and stuck on cheerios and berries on with a glue made out of rice and water. I'd say these critters are pretty excited!

Birds should not be fed uncooked rice.

@mulberry204: No worries, it's cooked. You can't make a paste out of uncooked rice. Look up "rice glue", its safe and non-toxic. :)

Bless you for caring for God's wild creatures. I'd heard of spreading creamy peanut butter on a pine cone and rolling it in bird seed, but not rice glue. I've never tried it, but I suppose suet might work in place of the peanut butter. Belated Merry Christmas!
