Travel: Cooper River Bridge (South Carolina)

This is a photo of the Cooper River Bridge that connects Mount Pleasant, SC and Charleston, SC on Highway 17. We stayed at a motel in Mount Pleasant near the bridge. We walked the walking and biking lane in the morning out as far as the island, which was one and half miles. We turned around and came back to the parking lot, making it a 3 mile walk.

We had so much fun that we did it again that night. Nighttime was also beautiful with the city lights reflecting in the water. It was a great way to spend time with our family.
