Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball I

A sweet alternative to your average cheese ball for showers and parties.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz package cream cheese
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3/4- 1 cup Powdered sugar

Directions

Mix and form into a ball. Serve with Graham crackers or tiny graham cracker or chocolate cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball II

Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (8oz.)
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened (no substitutes)
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • graham crackers

Directions

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add sugars; beat just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Place cream cheese mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap; shape into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Just before serving, roll cheese ball in pecans. Serve with graham crackers.

I've made this several times. You could also use cinnamon chips instead of the chocolate and I use regular size if I dont have the mini ones. You could also use the cinnamon or chocolate graham crackers. The graham cracker sticks work well with this.

This cheese ball "looks" like any other cheese ball, but what a surprise when you bite into that first cracker!

  • 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8oz)
  • 1/2 cup butter (no substitutes) softened
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • graham crackers to serve it on

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add sugars and beat beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. When chilled place cheese mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap; shape into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Just before serving, roll cheese ball in pecans. Serve with graham crackers.
