This is my male Yorkshire. His name is Romeo and he is 5 years old. I have two others which are girls. I've always had girl dogs. This is the first boy dog I've had. He is 5 years old and very attached to me. He won't go out with my husband unless I give the okay and put his leash on. He is very protective of me and he is a wonderful addition to my family of pets.

I know first hand how cute he is because I am lucky enough to be his neighbor.

I'm not even a fan of little dogs -- always go for the 100 lb. bull-in-a-china-closet-drooler types, but this one is super CUTE! I'm sure you have a lot of fun with him!

What special care, besides love and affection, do Yorkies require? If they don't get clipped, are they easy to groom and maintain? Just wondering...

He is the cutest dog! Very protective sounds like!
I have always found that of male dogs - mine (even my male cats) are all very affectionate and very protective, more so than the girls. The girls always act independent. So glad you have Romeo!
